Rejuall VS Rejuvenex PDRN Creams Review

Rejuall VS Rejuvenex PDRN Creams Review

Rejuvenex vs Rejuall: Which Korean Pharmacy PDRN Cream Is Better?

Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN) are among the most popular ingredients in Korean skincare, with many cosmeceutical companies trying to ride on the popularity of PDRN injections in aesthetic medicine. The choices of PDRN sources are plenty-from salmon DNA to vegan friendly, ginseng and other plant derived DNA sources- just like the variety of PDRN products- serums, creams, lip balms, masks…the list goes on.

Update October 2025: Rejuall has changed the packaging of its PDRN cream- this is the new look!

Among the many PDRN-based skincare products making waves on social media, two Korean PDRN creams have gone viral on social media: Rejuvenex and Rejuall. Both creams, sold exclusively in Korean pharmacies, are reportedly sold out in many pharmacies in Seoul.

Like many of you, I was curious to know how Rejuvenex VS Rejuall would fare and compare in terms of formulation, texture, and clinical use, especially in Singapore’s humid climate. I’ve put both Korean pharmacy PDRN creams to test over a few weeks; and here’s my review of Rejuall VS Rejuvenex PDRN creams. But first, let’s understand the appeal of PDRN creams and skincare….why are they so popular?

A summary of PDRN in dermatology and cosmetics.

WHAT IS PDRN IN SKINCARE? A DOCTOR’S GUIDE TO PDRN TREATMENTS

Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) are fragments of DNA. In aesthetic dermatology and skincare, PDRN are typically derived from salmon DNA. Research has shown that PDRN activates A2A adenosine receptors, which reduce inflammation and support tissue regeneration.

PDRN has a history of use in aesthetic treatments for skin regeneration and tissue repair. One popular brand of injectable PDRN in Singapore and Korea is PDRN Skinboosters; which we use to resurface depressed acne scars, smoother skin texture, reduce wrinkles and pore size; and overall skin clarity.

Caveat: Most of the research on PDRN is based on PDRN derived from the salmon DNA, trout fish or sturgeons. These findings may not apply to plant derived DNA that some cosmeceutical companies use.

My PDRN creams (Rejuvenex and Rejuall)  from Korean pharmacies, thanks to my patients who got them for me to review.

BENEFITS OF TOPICAL PDRN SKINCARE

While the benefits of PDRN treatments (i.e. injections into the skin) to improve skin quality and signs of ageing are supported by evidence, can the same be said for PDRN creams? I have shared my skepticism about topical PDRN creams, especially when applied to an intact skin barrier in Salmon Sperm Facials and PDRN Skincare. Evidence for salmon DNA and PDRN treatments’ benefits are mainly for intradermal injections of PDRN from salmon DNA; which is different from applying PDRN creams (of variable compositions) to intact skin barrier. The relatively large molecular weights of salmon PDRN are a barrier to absorption through the skin barrier; so we cannot apply the results of injectable PDRN treatments to applying PDRN serums or creams on intact skin. This is not to say that PDRN creams are useless; but will require more evidence from controlled, human trials to substantiate their safety and efficacy.

Nonetheless, PDRN skincare has garnered attention for its focus on skin regeneration and repair. Based on the current level of evidence, I do not believe that topical PDRN creams replicate the benefits of intradermal injections of PDRN, such as reducing depth of acne scars, size of enlarged pores, and wrinkles. However PDRN creams may still benefit as complementary, adjunct skincare to strengthen the moisture barrier and improve healing after chemical peels and lasers.

Both Korean PDRN creams, Rejuvenex and Rejuall, have emerged as top contenders on social media. Here’s a breakdown of Rejuvenex VS Rejuall PDRN creams; and my experience with using them in Singapore’s humid weather.

Rejuvenex VS Rejuall PDRN creams

REJUVENEX VS REJUALL: SIMILARITIES

• Both contain PDRN from salmon DNA

• Both are produced by Korean companies (Rejuvenex: PharmaResearch; Rejuall: Rejouviance); and distributed at Korean pharmacies. However, I’ve also noticed that Rejuall PDRN cream being sold by independent retailers online.

• Both creams are marketed as skincare that improves wound healing, scar reduction and skin regeneration.

REJUVENEX VS REJUALL: DIFFERENCES

• Rejuall has 1200ppm PDRN (ie. higher PDRN content) VS Rejuvenex has 800ppm PDRN

• Rejuall costs ~USD$40-50 for a 20g tube online and at pharmacies; Rejuvenex costs ~USD$40-60 for a 10g tube at Korean pharmacies.

• Consistency: Rejuall comes in gel, Rejuvenex comes in a cream.

Rejuvenex PDRN cream review

MY REVIEW OF REJUVENEX VS REJUALL: WHICH IS BETTER?

 • Texture and comfort: Rejuall is more lightweight; with good slip and spreadability compared to Rejuvenex.

• Finish: Rejuall had a barely there finish but Rejuvenex formed a balmy film that was visible for me. I enjoy layering my skincare; and Rejuall’s lightweight texture was more pleasant for this compared to Rejuvenex.

• Effects: I tried both creams separately after getting chemical peels, Rejuall soothed the redness and irritation more quickly for me than Rejuvenex.

• No visible improvement in dark spots or fine creases with both PDRN creams.

Rejuall PDRN cream review

CONCLUSION: REJUALL VS REJUVENEX PDRN CREAMS

Between both Korean PDRN creams, I preferred using Rejuall for its lighter consistency. I prefer to layer my skincare; and in Singapore’s humid weather, Rejuvenex felt uncomfortably occlusive for my preference. If you have normal to oily skin, I’d recommend using Rejuall. If you have dry skin, you might prefer Rejuvenex PDRN cream.

Unsurprisingly, both PDRN cream did not achieve the same benefits of intradermal PDRN injections- I did not notice any visible improvements in pore size and wrinkle depth with both creams. However, both PDRN creams may support recovery after aesthetic procedures like chemical peels and lasers. Both PDRN creams felt moisturising, but Rejuall’s soothing effects were more obvious than Rejuvenex for me. If you have dry skin, you might prefer Rejuvenex. If you have normal or oily skin, you might like Rejuall’s lightweight texture better.

Finally, based on both PDRN cream’s information; Rejuall seems to offer better value than Rejuvenex for its higher PDRN content. Have you tried any of these creams? Please share your thoughts in the comments!
