Blackpink in your area! Raise your hand if you’re a Blink or the hype behind the Dior’s special edition Lip Glow in honor of Jisoo brought you here. Jisoo, aka Dior Princess, is back and bigger than ever as Dior Beauty’s ambassador for another year. As a tribute to the K-pop star’s global popularity and partnership with Dior Beauty, the luxury beauty brand released a new lip gloss in January 2023 dedicated to Jisoo.
The Dior Addict Lip Glow is a lip balm in a strawberry red red. Aptly named 031 Strawberry, the number is a nod to Jisoo’s birthday on 3rd January. Both brands, Jisoo and Dior Beauty, need no introduction as powerhouses in the K-pop and luxury cosmetic markets respectively. I’ve been a fan of Dior Beauty’s lip products for years and a fan of Jisoo’s fashion style. So when the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry, I bought it without hesitation.
So here’s my review of the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry; let’s see if this release would Shut Down naysayers. Blinks, How You Like That?

Founded in 1947 by French couturier Christian Dior, Dior Beauty is the cosmetic arm of the eponymous French luxury fashion house. The Dior Addict Lip Glow is a lip balm that claims to hydrate the lips for 24 based on a test of… 11 subjects. The Lip Glow range features 28 colours in different shades of pink and red.
I bought the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry for SGD $59 from Dior Beauty Singapore in January 2023. I thought that this special release to celebrate Jisoo by Dior Beauty would be sold out in Singapore given Jisoo’s star power, but it was readily available in Singapore.
Mostly emollients that moisturise and soften the lips- Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Jojoba esters, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Euphorbia Cerifera Cera, Behenyl Behenate, Shea butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Diisostearyl Malate and Cherry seed oil.

The good about the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry
First impressions -the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is a very pretty colour. It’s a shade of vibrant pink that I found to be flattering on my skin. One swipe of Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry gives a visible pink shear that pairs well for a no make up or light makeup look. The colour is also buildable; three swipes give an opaque colour that pairs with a heavier makeup look. Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry colour can last for about 3-4 hours; after which it fades to a visible tint.
The Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry has a faint vanilla scent that is sweet without being saccharine. This lip balm is moisturising; and it leaves my lips feeling softer for approximately 3-4 hours. Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry’s staying power is commendable. It does not transfer to my face mask and budges only slightly with drinks.
The bad about the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry
Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is a moderately moisturising lip balm. If you have dry lips, then you might find a lip oil better performing. The ingredients in the lipbalm are the usual suspects in most other lip products; so if you remove the hype, branding and product endorsement by Jisoo of Blackpink; Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is a standard lip balm in a very pretty colour.
For what it is- especially at its ingredient list of garden variety lip ingredients- the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is expensive at SGD$ 59. There are equally good if not better lip balms I’ve tried that are less costly.
The Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is a joy to use; the colour is pretty that gives a very natural radiance for an everyday look on its own.. The Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry has a luxurious sensorial effect that brings me joy to use. The Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is definitely moisturising, but the ingredients are standard ones that can be found in many other drug store lip products.
For what it is, the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is a lovely albeit expensive lip balm. There are definitely dupes for this lip balm in a similar colour. But sing the Dior Addict Lip Glow 031 Strawberry is a luxurious experience that brings me joy, and I’m happy to indulge in this.
