Skincare is often judged on its functionality, but what if skincare could be both functional and fun? Skincare rituals have been reimagined with Dior Beauty to be enjoyable and stylish with their staples- the Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser, Le Baume, and the Hydra Life Eye Patches. Dior Beauty sent these skincare products to me; and I’ll use this opportunity to look at the skincare science and review the user experience of the Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser, Le Baume, and the Hydra Life Eye Patches.

This multi- purpose balm was previously reviewed in Dior Le Baume Review in 2023 when it was first released. I could not resist getting it after seeing the Dior Le Baume in Jisoo’s Flower MV! I believe that the formulation in 2025 is identical to the original from 2023. The Dior Le Baume is pitched as a multi-functional balm salve for the lips, hands, cuticles and even on the face. It comes in a compact container, easy and convenient to carry on the go.
Key ingredients in Dior Le Baume
• Glycerin, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate : Humectants which draw water into the skin
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) : Emollient and occlusive moisturisers which soften the skin and lock in skin’s moisture
• Squalane: A type of lipid that also makes up the skin’s sebum. Acts an an emollient and improves skin barrier function
• Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract: Has anti-inflammatory and wound healing benefits; discussed in depth in Cica in Skincare: Centella Asiatica Explained
• Jojoba Oil: Emollient that supports the skin barrier; also has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits
• Tocopherol: Antioxidant that fights oxidative stress
User experience and performance of Dior Le Baume
Dior Le Baume is a creamy balm that melts into a light cream on the skin. It spreads smoothly and absorbs fairly quickly for my skin and lips. Dior Le Baume lives up to its task of moisturising the skin, lips, and cuticles. I find this moisturising effect to last for 2-3 hours.
The feel of Dior Le Baume is lightweight without any greasy or waxiness. Finish is a smooth, velvety feel. There is a subtle floral fragrance that I find very pleasant with Dior Le Baume. I like taking Dior Le Baume on short trips and in my hand carry on flights because it’s a multitasking moisturiser that’s so compact and handy; and always a pampering experience to use Dior Le Baume. The Dior Le Baume is better for those with normal to slightly dry skin. Those with very dry skin will find this to be insufficient; and may require moisturisers with ceramides and beta glucan to reinforce their moisture barrier.

The Dior La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser is a facial cleanser that is purifying and hydrating simultaneously with water lily extract and niacinamide, hence the name “OFF” (cleansing) and “ON” (hydrating).

User experience and performance of Dior La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser
The Dior La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser is a cream that transforms into a foamy cleanser. It cleanses the skin without leaving the skin feeling tight or squeaky. The cleansing has a floral scent that I found to be very pleasant. Dior La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser is gentle on the skin; and is better as a morning or second cleanser if you double cleanse as it does not remove makeup completely. All in all, the Dior La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser feels like a pampering, luxurious facial cleanser. Suitable for all skin types, unless you have sensitive skin or fragrance allergies.

Key ingredients in Dior Eye Patches
• Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Diglycerin Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol: Humectants
• Caffeine: An ingredient often found in under eye products for vasoconstriction to reduce puffiness. More about caffeine and consuming for your skin in The Benefits of Caffeine and Coffee– a must for all coffee drinkers!
• Niacinamide: Antioxidant with anti-inflammatory, and barrier protective benefits.
• Centurea Cyanus (Cornflower) Flower Water: May help with soothing and calming the skin- data on this ingredient is very limited.
• Chondrus Crispus Extract (Red Algae), Tocopherol: Antioxidants
• Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter): Emollient and occlusive moisturisers which soften the skin and lock in skin’s moisture.
User experience and performance of Dior Eye Patches
To say that the Dior Eye Patches are iconic would be an understatement. No one will miss the monogram Dior brand name stamped all over the mask. The Dior Eye Patch is a hydrogel mask that conforms and adheres well to my undereyes. After leaving the Dior Eye Patch for ~20 mins, the undereye feels cooler and looks plumper. However, I did not notice any reduction in discoloration or puffiness with the Dior Eye Patch. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience wearing the Dior Eye Patches.
