Chanel Winter Constellation Holiday Makeup 2025
The holiday makeup collection I look forward to every year is Chanel Beauty’s winter makeup collection. Every year, the beauty house releases a limited edition, seasonal collection that celebrates the house’s take on festive makeup. This year, the Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025 was created with makeup artist Cécile Paravina and is inpsired by the colors of midnight constellations with cosmic shifts.
A polished makeup look in under 10 mins with Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025
I was initially apprehensive of the cool, dusty hues of the Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025. The cool, shimmery hues are different from my usual warm, matte color palette. However, with a little help from my friend and makeup artist, Rachel Ong, the duality of this Chanel makeup collection has been brought out. We’ve created an polished, elegant everyday look for day and layered upon this base for a glamorous look that’s perfect for nights out. Here’s my review of Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025.

Chanel Les 4 Ombres Nuit Astrale – Multi-effect quadra eyeshadow review
The showstopper of the Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025 is the eyeshadow quad of matte blue-grey; shimmery purple silver, satin lavender and shimmery aqua blue. The eyeshadows are embossed with Coco Chanel’s favourite symbols- pearls, buckwheat camellia and comets-very, very pretty and exquisite.

The colors go on light; and layer easily. The shimmers are refined and elegant, and give a luxurious shine i.e. nothing frosty or garish. I used an eyeshadow primer before layering on the eyeshadow; and the Chanel eyeshadows did not crease and could last the entire day in Singapore’s humidity and heat no fallout.

My favourite item from the Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025 would have to be the illuminating powder blush that doubles as a highlighter. The Chanel Les Signes Illuminating Blush is another limited edition release that deserves to be a collector’s item with its beautiful motifs of camellia, lion, pearls and buckwheat. The blush comes in 2 shades- a soft, cool pink (Rose Lumière); and warmer peachy orange (Pêche Lumière)- with a dust of pearly white shimmer.

Between both shades, Rose Lumière was more flattering on my skin. The powder is very finely milled; and feels weightless on my skin- perfect in Singapore’s weather. The finish is a soft, satin glow that could hold up for 6-7 hours without slipping. This Chanel Illuminating Blush in Rose Lumière has been on heavy rotation in my daily makeup routine; it brightens and lifts my overall look without looking overdone.

Rouge Allure lipsticks are Chanel’s hydrating lipsticks in a matte finish. 548 Abstrait and 549 Rouge Vie are actually existing Chanel lipsticks shades. For the winter holiday 2025 collection, these 2 shades of lipstick are dressed up in a limited edition case- Chanel’s double C logo with surrounding rays on adorn the gold cover, like a burst of light. 548 Abstrait is a dusty rose pink; and 549 Rouge Vie is a more intense red color.
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour -548 Abstrait & 549 – Rouge Vie swatches
Color payoff of these lipsticksis rich; and the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet has a plumping effect that effaces some lip creases. The finish is matte but with a luminosity from within. 548 Abstrait is a color that feels polished, and easy to pair with light makeup. 549 Rouge Vie feels more glamorous, richer colour that’s perfect for parties.

Rouge Allure Laque is Chanel line of long wear liquid lipsticks. 558 Incandescent, a magenta red; and 559 Nebuleuse, a wine-purple colour are limited edition releases. The colours are intense, shiny and can last up to 6 hours without reapplication. I paticularly like that Chanel Rouge Allure Laque also hides my lip creases well.

The other highlights of Chanel Winter Holiday Makeup Collection 2025 also include:
• Noir Allure, a mascara in Anthracite, a blue grey colour
• Le Liner de Chanel, an eyeliner in 544 Écarlate, a fiery red and
• Le Vernis nail polishes 371 Cosmique- a matte grey purple; and 367 – Alchimiste, a fiery orange red

For an easy day look that’s polished and elegant, I use Chanel Nuit Astrale’s satin lavender and shimmery aqua blue very lightly on the lids with a 2 swipes of Chanel Les Signes De Chanel Rose Lumière on my cheek bones to my outer lids. For the finishing touch- Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in Abstrait.
Chanel Noir Allure in Anthracite
To create an evening look, I layer my day look with the blue-grey and purple-silver shades from Nuit Astrale on my lids, and extend a little beyond to the outer lids. A few more swipes of the Chanel Les Signes De Chanel Rose Lumière on my cheek bones; and a layer of Rouge Allure Lacque in Incandescent complete the transition from work to party.

Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025 goes beyond pretty packaging to deliver cleverly designed colors and finishes that take you from day to night. As always, the makeup products from Chanel are very refined in finishes; lightweight and built for layering. My favourite pieces from the Chanel Holiday Makeup Collection 2025 are the limited edition eyeshadow quad in Nuit Astrale, blush-highlighter in Rose Lumière and Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in Rouge Vie.
