For summer 2025, Chanel Beauty takes inspiration from the golden hour light for a limited edition makeup collection that recreates the radiant, lit from within warm glow in the skin and warm vibrant colours that enhance the eyes, contours and lips.

Chanel Makeup’s yearly limited releases for Les Beiges, its range of makeup for healthy and radiant looking skin, is always one of the most anticipated releases. The Maison’s attention to fine detail to its makeup never goes unnoticed- I’ve always loved the intricate embossed patterns on the powders; elegant finishes that seem to disperse light softly; and course, the faint whiffs of Les Beige Les Exclusifs de Chanel, one of my all time favourite fragrances.
When Chanel Beauty invited me for a preview of the Chanel Les Beiges Golden Hour Collection, I was at first surprised by the vibrance and the intense warmth and shimmer of the colours… I may enjoy using makeup but I’m certainly not an expert and was worried about not being able to do the collection justice. Long time fans of Chanel makeup may find that the vibrance and colour payoff for Les Beiges Golden Hour makeup collection is higher than usual, but the hues and finishes illuminate the skin to create a healthy, radiant look that’s perfect for any occasion. My favourite product from the Les Beiges Golden Hour makeup collection would have to be this limited edition eyeshadow palette. Consisting of a champagne at the top strip and a collection of pink, mauve, rosewood and burnt orange; with a moderate shimmer to them. I use the champagne colour to highlight my brow bone; and blend the lower colors together to create a coral ombre on the rest of my lids.

A little goes a long way with the eyrshadow because the intensity of the colours and payoff. I find that a light hand works well for a clean makeup look for work; and I can build up the colors to switch to a more dramatic makeup look.
Chanel Les Beiges Rouge Coco Flash in Sunset, Sun Kiss, Sun Bliss
I’ve always liked Chanel’s Rouge Coco Flash lipsticks for their smooth buttery texture that effortlessly glides on the lips that hides lip wrinkles well. This lipstick series has been a fool-proof option for moisturising lipsticks with good color payoff.

The Golden Hour collection introduces 4 new colours; which were all flattering for my skin. Sunset, a burnt orange red color, was most flattering on my skin. It’s a soft warm color that I really liked too. Sun Kiss is a bright pink-red that demands a full makeup look to pull off; and Sun-Bliss is a shimmery beige with a very light pink color which is great for no or very light makeup days.

A compact that combines a highlighter and an illuminating blusher, the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Golden Glow Powder comes in a rose pink and warm gold duo (Éclat du Soir) and orange and copper pair (Soleil Couchant). Both pairs evoke the warm glow of sunset and sunrise with a pearlescent sheen.

The colors are very sheer and give a natural looking radiance. The shimmer of the particles is very fine, and it diffuses light softly for a warm glow. I use the gold colour of Éclat du Soir as a highlighter; and pink color as a blush on my upper cheeks. The pink feels more like a combination of a blusher and highlighter due to its fine shimmer,

Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Colour Stick in Refresh Review
Not to be confused with the similar looking Baume Essential, the Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Colour Stick is essentially a rouge stick. Refresh is a rosy pink colour, with high colour payoff. I recommend dabbing the stick onto your hand (or a preferred surface); and using a brush to pick up the pigment to dab on to your cheeks because the intensity and color payoff are intense. The formula is buildable; but I prefer a light handed touch to give a rose sheer on my skin. Finish is almost matte with a slight shimmer.

The Chanel Les Beiges Golden Hour Collection delivers again with its high quality, fine milled powders of its makeup and elegant finishes. True to its name, this limited edition makeup collection comprises radiant, rosy colours complemented by soft, pearlescent shimmers.

I love this makeup collection from Chanel Les Beiges; and it complements a healthy skincare regime for those who want a healthy looking radiant glow. This collection is heavier on the pigments and shimmer than its previous collections, so a light hand is all you need for a sheer, natural looking warmth. The textures are easy to blend, so you can build them up for a heavier makeup look.
